To Create a User Workspace

Right-click User Workspace and select Add > User Workspace.
The Add User Workspace dialog opens.
Enter the following: a name for this workspace and an optional description, the plot scales, base source directory, and the Command Manager type.
Click OK.
The new workspace displays.
Select Tools > Options > Verbose to ensure that the menu item is turned on.
Save these changes to the schema file.
Click Export.

To review all the files created by the Export command, double-click the Message Center.

Note: It is possible to create new features under User Workspaces. The features appear in the DGN but are not posted to the database; they are considered local features.
